My 4 Top Web 2.0 Sites

There are more and more web 2.0 websites popping up all of the time, it’s starting to get a bit out of hand if you ask me, which is why I’ve stuck with these 5 sites, I haven’t really bothered with any other web 2.0 site outside of this list, it’s up to you if you choose to do the same, but I’d recommend everyone to use the web 2.0 sites below.

  1. WordPress.com, this is probably the most obvious web 2.0 website to start with, combined with the fact it’s wordpress, takes a couple of minuites to setup a decent looking site with some content on and so worth the backlink, you’ve got to remember it’s a blog, so your better off creating mini blogs.
  2. Blogger.com, of course this had to be on here, obviously owned by Google, Blogger gets a ton of G love, but spamming it with non unique content isn’t going to get you very far, your better off building up a nice small blog, or using them as mini blogs like with WordPress.com
  3. Hubpages.com, love this site without a doubt, really easy to use and never had any problems, you of course need to provide decent content and put some effort into building your “hub”, but the rewards from it are worth it, hub pages is great at keeping crap content out and they will remove your hub if it’s crap.
  4. Weebly.com, now I prefer hubpages, but Weebly is getting close to just as good, different concept with the drag-drop interface, which is pretty easy to work and newbies will love, but apart from that pretty standard web 2.0 website.

Now your probably wondering what you can do with this small list of sites, well the obvious would be to create a link wheel, usually you’d need 6, but I’ve never had problems with using the same domain twice in link wheels, you could just build a ton of pages on each site with content and link them straight to your website, it’s really up to you.
